OYS Customers win at the World Superyacht Awards 2018

The super stylish 34m Ribelle equipped with OYS custom hydraulics and thrusters was announced as the winner in the Sailing Yacht 30m – 49m category. Ribelle has OYS’s new range of sail control cylinders plus a carbon/titanium bow and stern thruster that keep her at optimum racing weight without compromise. Designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design, the judges marvelled at her ability to fulfil her role as a racing yacht as well as her fast cruising capabilities.

Winning both the 50m category as well as overall Sailing Yacht of the Year, the Baltic Yachts built Pink Gin also sports an OYS vang. Her vang was a new custom design supplied and installed via the team at Rondal. And finally, the Royal Huisman built Ngoni received a Judge’s Commendation, which is yet another award-winning superyacht equipped with OYS designs.
